MacTriv Quick Help

• To Start MacTriv, select “New Game” from the Game menu.
• Enter your names and choose a colour.
• Click the dice window to throw the dice.
• Choose a direction to move in by clicking the board in that direction. Only horizontal and vertical moves are allowed.
• Answer the question by clicking A, B or C.
• If correct, play continues. If incorrect, play passes to the next player.
• Collect all ‘wedge’ questions as you play by landing on the special squares.
• The winner is the first to collect all six wedges and answer the ‘Special Category’ question.
• Choose different files of questions at any time with ‘Open Questions’
• Change a player’s colour or name at any time by clicking (or option-clicking) the name of the player in either the wedge or info windows.
• Clicking the wedge holders opens the info window for that player.
• Create your own files of questions using the editor.
• Custom graphics and categories can be installed using ‘Customise...’ from the File menu.
